70 Inch Vertical Dunk Video | No Joke Cuzzz!

Wayne Clark Above & Beyond | 51 Inch Vertical | 70 Inch Dunk

September 8, 2008 – Dr. J-Water

Here is my latest YouTube find, and I think you’ll agree it’s quite a gem. A dunk over a vertically placed 70 inch bar? Are you kidding me? What freak of nature not named Michael Jordan, Dominique Wilkens, or Vince Carter could pull off such a thing…..? Try Wayne Clark from New Jersey.

Who? Yeah, me too. Check him out though:

So how about a little info. on this dunk machine from New Jersey, huh?  Wayne Clark is 31 years old, 6′3″ tall, and was known to the And1 Streetball Tour fans as “Above & Beyond”. He is listed as having a 51+ inch vertical leap and it has been said that he once dunked on a 12′ 1″ rim!

Good lord that is some sick hops! He truly is “Above & Beyond“!

Aight, I got a couple emails already to say that the video isn’t responding in the post sometimes.

For those of you who can’t view it in the post, here is a link to the video on youtube that should work! Sorry for the inconvenience, we’ll have it sorted out shortly.

it’s impressive and all but for some reason the fact that he was doing a reverse, basically in the sitting position doesnt make it seem THAT impressive

That’s really not that impressive. And it’s not a 70-inch “vertical” dunk.

The dunk’s part high-jump, part dunk. It’s more technique than it is hops.

Even though I wouldn’t say this guy has a “70-inch vertical,” it’s still pretty impressive. The reverse dunk is essential to getting over the bar because it lets him pull his legs up.

well that was dissapointing. 70″ vert is highly misleading.

I do recall that Clyde drexler had serious vert and dunked once on an almost 12′ rim. I think it was 11-9 or something.

I guess some of you didn’t read the post which states Clark has a 51 inch vertical, and the bar is set to 70 inches vertically.

Either way it’s pretty amazing, 51 inch vertical leap is ridiculous!

We read the post. It’s titled, “70 inch VERTICAL dunk video.”

Not a 70 inch vertical dunk.

LOL, well I guess it could be changed to 70 Inch Vertical Bar Dunk?

Either way it’s not horizontal like long jump, it’s vertical.

For those that are unimpressed, you are either not ballers and therefore don’t understand how difficult this is, or you are the type of people that would be unimpressed if a guy jumped out of an airplane from 1000 feet in the air, landed on his head, and lived.
