Two time NBA scoring champion Kevin Durant arguably has been the Association’s busiest player during the Summer and now into the Lockout. Unlike some of his fellow NBA superstars who chose to get some much needed rest, Kevin has dominated the opposition seemingly on every court and arena from LA to NYC.
Earlier this Summer “The Durantula” dropped an unreal 66 points in a game at Harlem’s fabled Rucker Park, got the best of Lebron in the epic Melo/Goodman clash, and taught everyone just how to make a fool out of hecklers sitting courtside.
He also found time to debut some nifty Back To the Future themed Nike MAG sneakers, started his own web series titled The 35th Hour, and got inked up with the illest State of Maryland tattoo that I’ve ever seen.
Phew. I’m tired just thinking about his packed itinerary and that’s not even including filming his first feature film titled “Switch”, where, you guessed it, Kevin switches places with an enthusiastic HS fan, leaving the Thunder helpless come Playoff time. No, say it isn’t so……..
But apparently now we can add rapper to his immense arsenal of talents as he, along with teammate Russell Westbrook, were caught on camera spitting bars in an OKC nightclub as part of a promotion for hip-hop artist Privaledge’s new mixtape. Who said Durant and Westbrook can’t co-exist?
Earlier this season, Kevin and teammate James Harden formed a record label with Privaledge set to be their debut artist.
