Without further ado, this week’s NBA dating-fix advice is brought to you by 20-year-old New York Knicks rookie Kristaps Porzingis.
Jack Moore posted a glorious question-and-answer session between he and KP over at GQ.com. The entire joint is worth a read—especially if you’re into more cornrows talk—but what really stood out was Porzingis’ cryptic honesty when it came to his dating life.
Ahem:
GQ: What about dating? Are you out and about, or are you too busy for all that?
KP: No! I mean you always gotta find a little bit of time for the girls, right? But there’s nothing serious really. Nothing too serious. I haven’t been that social yet, and I have been mostly focusing on basketball, but when I have a little more time I might to have to meet some new people.
There you have it. Porzingis is keeping it real. He’s not looking for anything serious, but he’s more than willing to keep it casual.
After all, “you always gotta find a little bit of time” for some recreational companionship.
