The NY nightclub incident appears to be way more serious than initially thought. Chris Copeland broke his elbow and he and his wife were both stabbed. Now, we’re also finding out that Thabo Sefolosha broke his and leg that night in the altercation with the NYPD. He’s done for the season.
Atlanta Hawks forward Thabo Sefolosha has been diagnosed with a fractured tibia and will miss the remainder of the regular season and playoffs, sources close to Sefolosha confirmed Thursday.
Sefolosha sustained the injury on Wednesday morning outside a Manhattan night club, where a police report states he was resisting arrest. Sefolosha was arrested along with teammate Pero Antic for interfering with efforts of local police to set up a crime scene following the stabbing of Indiana Pacers forward Chris Copeland.
