Certain areas of the country deal with snow differently. Some are equipped to handle a foot of snow and some are not equipped to handle a few inches.
Atlanta is city that rarely gets snow, so when they do, it’s a big deal. Big enough to shut down the city for a few days as well as any event. That’s the case with tonights Pistons at Hawks game.
The Atlanta Hawks-Detroit Pistons game scheduled for Wednesday night in Philips Arena was postponed in the wake of the crippling winter storm that paralyzed the Atlanta area on Tuesday.
No makeup date for the game was announced Wednesday morning.
