You may be able to watch the former No. 1 pick of the 2007 NBA Draft, Greg Oden, on a basketball court again in the near future.
Not an NBA court though, it seems as though injuries have caused that ship to sale. There is a new option though for those who can’t compete on the highest level but can still lace them up and do so for nostalgic basketball fans in a more controlled and less commanding format, I am talking about the Big3 League of course.
According to a report from the Associated Press, Oden will be in the Big3 draft this summer.

Oden’s career has been a tragic tale (in basketball terms) as the former No. 1 pick (taken ahead of Kevin Durant of course), and NBA center of the future, only appeared in 105 NBA games over 8 NBA seasons, averaging 8.0 points per game.
He hasn’t played in the NBA since 2013-14 with the Miami Heat.
He will be able to plop his big frame in the middle and give even more washed up guys like Charles Oakley and Kwame Brown (battle of the busts!) buckets this summer I am sure.
In all seriousness, it would be nice to see him succeed a bit, even in this format, as we were never able to see anywhere near what he was capable of being as an NBA player if his body didn’t fail him.
