SAP and the NBA have released a video, delivered by the sons of Dwayne Wade and Chris Paul, that spotlights key stats and insights surrounding the NBA Finals.
In the video, Zion Wade and Chris Paul II co-host “The Simple Report by SAP” in which the nine and eight year olds provide their own humorous take on stats that have the ability to determine the outcome of the NBA Finals. Using stats and insights made possible by SAP, the NBA’s Data Analytics Partner, the video illustrates how SAP helps translate complex data into simple insights that even kids can understand.
Since 2012, SAP has worked with the NBA to transform the ways that fans can consume real-time stats and unique data-driven insights. Through this partnership, basketball fans have instant access to the NBA’s entire history of official statistics on NBA.com/Stats, a website powered by the SAP HANA platform. The site is now able to answer almost any basketball question by generating more than 4.5 quadrillion combinations of statistics and can accommodate tens of thousands of concurrent users globally.
“The Simple Report by SAP” is the latest in a series of video content that have developed to make stats more accessible, fun and engaging for the everyday sports fan.
