The NBA rumor mill keeps churning as reports are surfacing from numerous news outlets that many NBA executives feel that DeMarcus Cousins could be traded soon.

According to a western conference general manager, in a story from Sporting News, Cousins time in Sacramento is limited and he could be dealt within the next month and a half. The Kings have a big five-game home stretch leading into Thanksgiving. If they struggle or things start to go south, many around the league feel they could finally cut bait with Cousins and try to get as much value as they can before the trade deadline gets nearer and the offers get worse.
Cousins has flashed his limitless potential for years, but has an inability to control his emotions or co-exist with coaches and teammates. From the King’s perspective, and regardless of his level of talent, moving on from him may be a good thing for them.
Even with his laundry list of issues and suspensions in the past, you can bet their will be a long line of GMs who think their leadership and team culture will be able to help Cousins grow up. Many will be willing to part with a lot of talent and picks to acquire the ornery star.
Some who may have an interest in Cousins are the Wizards, Bulls, Mavericks, Nuggets and Pelicans to name a few, but few seem like a good fit.

Nuggets offer Emmanuel Mudiay, Jusuf Nurkic and a 1st Round Pick for Cousins
Raptors offer Jonas Valanciunas, Cory Joseph and a 1st Round Pick for Cousins
It feels like the DeMarcus Cousins trade rumors are legitimate this time around and I think he will be donning a new jersey in the next few months.
