Stephen Curry is tough.
He has played through injuries, worked his way back from injuries, withstood blows at the rim and, most notably, reinvented the game of basketball despite constant push-back from old heads who don’t consider him an all-time great.
Not everyone thinks Curry is tough, though.
And why not?
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has the answer (h/t CBS Sports):
Why do people question Steph Curry's toughness? Coach Kerr has an answer. ??? https://t.co/x5fFhwQTfN

“Because he looks like he’s 12,” Kerr said when prodded about Curry’s toughness.
I mean, this is fair. And probably accurate.
The “Baby Faced Assassin” continues to live up to his nickname, even at 28 years old, with two league MVPs and an NBA title to his credit. It’s easy to look at him as a kid, especially because he’s only just burst onto the scene as this all-time talent.
Still, on the heels of the Warriors’ Game 7 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals, it would be foolish not to recognize Curry’s toughness. He collected 36 points and eight assists in what was clearly his best performance of the series, shedding the inconsistency label that has dogged him since he was injured against the Houston Rockets in the first round.
The dude may not look like a ragged old senior citizen, or even someone who can order his own cosmopolitans at the local karaoke bar, but he’s still tough.
