Ever since 2008, December has been the month for an Air Jordan 11 release. Always anticipated, it has been proven that any AJ XI drop will be one of the most sought after of the year. This year’s is no different.
In celebration of the Chicago Bulls season where the team won 72 games and lost only 10 in the regular season is the aptly-titled ’72-10′ Air Jordan 11. In complete coincidence (or is it?!), this Jordan release comes during an NBA season where this specific record is getting its closest competitor in the Golden State Warriors.
Even the most harsh Air Jordan Retro stickler will appreciate this release. Featuring high-quality tumbled leather on the upper sitting ontop a white carbon fiber’d midsole and milky-white translucent outsole, the ’72-10′ Jordan XI is good; really good. This specific colorway has never been released (or officially seen before) though it does resemble a pair worn by Marcus Jordan in 2009 during his time on the UCF Knights NCAA basketball team.
If you haven’t plotted on your plans to get buy these yet I suggest you do some heavy recon not only into the big box retailers (Finish Line, Foot Locker) release logistics, but your local “mom and pops” sneaker shops & sporting goods stores.
