According to ESPN’s Marc Stein the Miami Heat and Memphis Grizzlies are engaged in trade discussions for backup point guard Mario Chalmers.
No trade imminent yet, I'm told, but sources say that the Grizzlies and Heat have discussed a potential Chalmers-to-Memphis swap

Chalmers is averaging 6.7 points, 3.0 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 18 minutes per game thus far for the Heat this season.
Chalmers has been on the block for some time in Miami and is losing backup guard minutes to Gerald Green and Tyler Johnson.
What the Grizzlies may be offering a potential trade hasn’t been reported but it could be a 2nd round pick. Chalmers would join a strong group of point guards in Memphis with Mike Conley and Beno Udrih.
