For the new ‘Hunt’s Hill Night’ Nike KD8 colorway inspiration comes from the colors seen outside at night around Kevin Durant’s childhood neighborhood. A grey textile called Flyweave makes up the entire upper sits on a Green Glow outsole that has a full-length Zoom Air cushioning unit.
Hunt’s Hill in Maryland has about a 75-foot incline and was said to be run by a young Kevin Durant 25 times before heading home for dinner. This process was a constant in KD’s life as a youth and is is often credited for his fantastic conditioning early on in his basketball career.
