When comic book movies release, the licensing for the intellectual property involved is big business. Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is out in theaters right now and to help with general brand promotion is this collaborative sneaker pack with adidas.
The colorway inspiration translates very well; the four selected Avengers are represented well each on a unique sneaker silhouette. Where the traditional signature player branding would be on each shoe is replaced by an icon to represent the specific character (like where the Tracy McGrady 1 logo would be on the lateral part of the heel is replaced by a fist for The Incredible Hulk).
