The relationship of Kevin Love and LeBron James has been an interesting one so far during their tenure as teammates. LeBron’s famous “fit in” tweet aimed at Love a few months ago really demonstrated that the two aren’t on the same page. And according to Love, they’re not exactly “best friends” either. But that’s fine. They don’t need to be.
Love was a guest on The Dan Patrick Show, where Patrick asked Love to compare the type of season Russell Westbrook (Love’s college teammate at UCLA) is having to LeBron. Love said Westbrook is having the better season.
It’s hard to say this is an indication of disdain towards LeBron, because Russ is playing out of his mind, but it’s newsworthy to say the least.
