This is only his third year in the NBA, but the Wizards’ Brad Beal has not yet shown that he can stay healthy for a sustained period. Leg and wrist injuries has sidelined him in the past, and he’s been out recently with a toe injury, but another, potentially more serious leg injury has surfaced. No timetable yet for him return, but Ray Allen certainly wouldn’t hurt.
The Wizards announced this afternoon that Bradley Beal will miss tonight’s game at Toronto, and that an examination has revealed a “mild stress reaction in his lower right fibula.”
Beal missed the last two games with a sore right big toe.
He will be re-evaluated after the all-star break.
