For most professional athletes, the height of their celebrity is during their playing days. But for some, they are able to reinvent themselves and gain even more stardom once they’ve hung it up. Kenny Smith had a very solid career, but if he wasn’t so comfortable in front of the camera, many young hoop heads may not have ever heard of him.
Kenny is taking this fame and is embarking on a new endeavor. He and his family (wife and five children) will be featured on a reality show in 2015. I wonder if Chuck and Shaq will make cameos.
Former NBA star Kenny Smith and his family will appear on a reality show on TBS in the spring.
The 49-year-old Smith is a basketball analyst for Turner, TBS’s parent company. The network said Tuesday it had ordered six episodes of “The Smiths.”
The show will follow Smith, his wife and five children between the ages of 2 and 20.
