After making our holy grail-ish list of the 23 best Air Jordans from the 1990s, we now have a 2014 Retro re-release of the Air Jordan VI (6) in a color not seen for over two decades.
The proper name of the ‘SP Blue’ colored Jordan 6 has been officially cleared up by Jordan Brand with this release with ‘Sport Blue’ being named as the often-debated hue since this colorway has never been given the Retro treatment until now.
Along with the sneakers, there is an entire apparel line centered around this sneaker which [should be] most famous for being the shoe Michael Jordan wore en route to his first NBA championship with the Chicago Bulls back in the 1991-92 NBA season.
The ‘Sport Blue’ Air Jordan VI (6) releases on August 30th for $170 on the Nike webstore at 8 AM EST that morning and around the country at various Jordan Brand retailers.
