Battle torn, tested, and tuned, Derrick Rose can is in place to be seen back in basketball action soon.
On his feet for this return will be the new adidas D Rose 5 Boost basketball sneaker, which is an upgrade to the industry-standard TPU midsole materials and replaces it with the popular adidas Boost foam for improved cushioning.
During the adidas press conference in Las Vegas hosted by Greg Anthony, Derrick Rose had this to say about the incorporation of the Boost foam technology into his sneaker line:
Having the Boost cushioning in my new signature shoe makes it the most favorite of mine that we’ve ever done…I’ve played in them for a couple months, but every time I put them on it feels like a new shoe and it’s the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. Now I can’t image playing without Boost in my shoes.
Those are somewhat bold words from a player who hasn’t played over a regular NBA season’s worth of games in the last three calendar years. Hopefully we all will get the chance to see Derrick Rose thrive in the upcoming D Rose 5 Boost in the FIBA tournament as well as the upcoming season.
The adidas D Rose 5 Boost releases on October 23rd for $140.
