Phil Jackson’s nonchalant demeanor can sometimes be taken as if he doesn’t care about certain. The Zen Master is laid back and that’s just the way it is. He’s relaxed when it comes to everything, including Carmelo Anthony’s future.
Naturally, he’d like for Melo to stay in NY, but I get the impression that he wouldn’t be incredibly broken up if he left. If that’s not the case, he has an interesting way of expressing his true feelings on the matter.
