Tony Parker left last night’s game 5 win over the Blazers early due to a tight hamstring. San Antonio didn’t really need him, as they easily took care of Portland, sending them home for the summer. But is Parker’s hammy something to keep an eye on?
If the Thunder – Clippers series goes 7, he’ll have some time to rest that leg. If the leg doesn’t heal up quick enough, it will make for an interesting Western Conference Finals because either Chris Paul or Russell Westbrook will be impossible to deal with on a bad leg.
Tony Parker left Game 5 for the San Antonio Spurs vs. the Portland Trail Blazers Wednesday with hamstring tightness. After he went to the locker room, GM R.C. Buford and the team doctor went to the back to consult on the situation. In the third quarter, the Spurs announced that Parker is done for the game and will not return.
The hamstring has been a consistent issue for Parker for the last few weeks. He’s been receiving treatment and can’t seem to kick it
