I usually read too deep into everything, but it would be fair to take from the Jordan ‘Tailored For Flight’ campaign that Russell Westbrook will be debuting a new Air Jordan sneaker.
Seen here in this new commercial is Russell Westbrook walking down a city street into “Jeffrey & Sons” store (EST. 1985) which is presumably a tailor shop where Westbrook is greeted by a dapper old gentleman holding a large attaché with something freshly-crafted in it. Russell approves so greatly of this creation that he goes on to say that whatever is in the bag is better saved for the NBA Playoffs.
Does anyone else think that this clip is foreshadowing of not only Russell Westbrook debuting the Air Jordan XX9, but also of him stepping in as the main face of Jordan Brand basketball moving forward?
