In 2014, social media paired with someone who is recognized as a celebrity is a powerful thing. That combination can create awareness of anything as seen by the relevance of Dwyane Wade’s WADE Brand subsidiary under Chinese sportswear company Li-Ning.
On his Instagram feed, Dwyane Wade posted a picture of five new colorways of the Li-Ning Way Of Wade 2. Two pairs have a cheetah print upper (I don’t understand this animal trend), two pairs have a upper with a solid color and a white paint-drip print going into the midsole, and the remaining two have colorways that hook up more directly to different Miami Heat uniforms.
This could be one of the last times we see new Way Of Wade 2 pairs before Dwyane Wade makes the eventual switch into an updated .5 version of his current signature sneaker to wear during the NBA Playoffs.
