This is new. Dwight Howard was given a technical foul last night because he threw the ball at a heckling fan during a game in Dalls vs. the Mavericks. I don’t believe we’ve ever come across something like this. At least he didn’t run into the stands (Tuesday was the 9-year anniversary of Malice in the Palace, by the way).
Easy for me to say, but players need to have thick skin. Fans are going to be mean and they feel accomplished if they get a reaction. I’ll bet anthing that fan is bragging about this to his friends right now.
