Analyst have projected the Lakers finish towards the bottom half of the Western Conference, and out of the playoff picture. Needless to say, that didn’t sit well with fans and the players. But when you take a look at their roster, age and injuries, is it really far off?
Aside from Kobe, another big question mark is Steve Nash and his health. His ankle is still ailing him and was the reason he was limited Thursday night in preseason action vs. Sacramento. Something to keep an eye on.
“I’m not concerned,” D’Antoni said. “I think this will happen on and off on all year. But he’s going to give you a good season and good stuff. But we have to take care of him.”
