Ever since the Nike KD II, there has always been a colorway of Kevin Durant’s sneaker for that year that pays homage to the single year that KD spent at the University of Texas. That in mind, take an official look at the ‘Texas’ Nike KD VI.
The mostly black upper on the Nike KD 6 ‘Texas’ with speckles throughout the shoe is inspired by the bright stars seen during nights in Texas. The burnt orange comes from the Longhorn school colors and is accented by the Green Glow color.
On October 10th, the ‘Texas’ Nike KD VI releases for $140 along with a KD backpack & Nike Elite socks with the same color inspiration.
