With the 2013 NBA Draft officially in the books, it’s time to take a look at one of the potential players in the running for the top overall selection next season, namely University of Kentucky recruit Julius Randle.
He’s a 6’9, high scoring forward, hailing from Texas, that should be one of the superstars of the college ranks next season.
Randle has the skill set that has been compared to that of a poor man’s Lebron James and was named to the McDonald’s All American and Jordan Brand Classic Teams this past season.
As the top rated PF coming out of HS, he is the headliner on John Calipari’s top ranked recruiting class for 2013, that includes the top rated PG(Andrew Harrison), SG(Aaron Harrison), and C(Dakari Johnson). The legendary class has many wondering if Kentucky’s 2013 Class is better that Michigan’s Fab Five squad during the early 90’s.
While the rest of the incoming freshman, along with Randle, have been arriving on the UK campus over the past few weeks, Julius decided to partake in one final exhibition game in Dallas prior to officially starting his collegiate career at Kentucky.
Take notice opposing squads in the SEC….
