Chris Bosh to Heat Fans Who Left Early: “Don’t Come to Game 7”

As the Miami Heat were mounting a late comeback vs. the San Antonio Spurs, things looked bleak for the hometown team. So bad, that with the Heat down by 5 with 28 seconds left, fans decided to leave. Apparently, when they were outside American Airlines Arena, they caught wind of the Heat’s miraculous comeback and pending overtime. Naturally, they wanted back in, but of course, there’s no re-entry for sporting events.

Fans were banging on the glass doors to be let back in and got so rowdy, that cops had to be called. Long story short, they missed the end of one of the best Finals games ever.

Chris Bosh wasn’t amused. When asked about those fans, Bosh spoke honestly. Good for him.

“For all those guys who left, make sure they don’t come to game 7,” Bosh said. “We only want the guys that are going to stay in the building for the whole game. You never give up. People gave up on us. They can stay where they are and watch the game at home.”

“You cant get let back in after you leave,” Bosh said. “I know that, hell, I’ve been to games. You can’t leave a game and come back. It doesn’t make any sense. You left. That’s not punishment, that’s protocol.”
