Andrew Wiggins Chooses Kansas

The day has finally arrived. For months (actually, years) now, we have been anticipating where Andrew Wiggins would decide to play his college ball. Widely regarded as the best high school basketball player since LeBron James, Wiggins has opted for Bill Self and Kansas. Many thought he would’ve chosen Kentucky, but they’re probably already too stacked for Wiggins to truly shine to the level he will at Kansas. It will be fun to watch him next year in the Big 12. He’s already made splashes on the HS circuit and international scale.

Andrew Wiggins, the consensus No. 1 basketball recruit in the country, announced Tuesday morning he will attend Kansas, picking the Jayhawks over three other finalists, Kentucky, Florida State and North Carolina.

The decision concluded one of the most highly anticipated recruitments of the last decade, ending weeks of speculation as Wiggins stayed tight-lipped and quiet throughout the process.
