The Cleveland Cavaliers coaching vacancy wasn’t vacant for very long. After courting Phil Jackson (unsuccessfully) and Mike Brown, reports now are indicating that Brown is pretty much a lock to be the new head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers…again.
Surely you’ll remember that he was LeBron’s coach in Cleveland before he was ultimately fired. Dan Gilbert is still the owners of the Cavs, so what’s different now? Still no Lebron James. Either way, Cleveland has their man apparently.
Mike Brown and the Cavaliers have reached a handshake agreement on a new deal, a league source told the Akron Beacon Journal on Tuesday. An official announcement should be made Wednesday.
The source spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the negotiations.
