When the Los Angeles Clippers were visited by the San Antonio Spurs on February 21st, DeAndre Jordan came prepared with two different Player Exclusive pairs of Under Armour sneakers. While the standard Clippers-colorway of the Spine Bionic was dope on its own, it is the sneaker Jordan emerged from the locker room after the half that caught my eye.
Made especially for DeAndre Jordan, the ‘Bruce Wayne’ Under Armour Spine Bionic features an entirely black upper with matte black design of a city skyline along the lateral part of the shoe. The tongue of this PE features a similar cityscape below the DJ6 logo for Jordan.
By this point, Under Armour is very familiar with the Batman franchise since creating a limited collection of Gotham City Rogues gear inspired by the football team seen in The Dark Knight Rises in which Under Armour did the uniforms for.
