Bulls’ Taj Gibson Out 2 Weeks With Sprained Knee

We continue to say this, but give the Bulls credit for how well they’ve played this year without Derrick Rose. As of right now, they would host a playoff series in the first round.

One of the reason’s they’ve overachieved in the eyes of many is the play of Taj Gibson. He continues to produce and is one of the more important guys on the team. But he Bulls will have to figure out how to get by without him for a little while.

As the Bulls prepare to hopefully welcome back their superstar from injury, they’ll be without a key role player for a couple weeks.

Forward Taj Gibson will miss up to two weeks because of a sprained knee he suffered Sunday against the Thunder. Gibson had an MRI on the knee Monday that revealed no extensive damage.

Gibson, 27, is a very key piece to the Bulls’ strong second unit, averaging 7.7 points and 5.4 rebounds in 56 appearances.
