2013 will continue the “Reebok Back” mantra started in 2011 by re-releasing classic basketball sneakers that haven’t seen a store shelf since their original release. Starting off the year strong is the return of the Reebok Kamikaze II in an original colorway.
Those nostalgic-types who remember the days of Shawn Kemp and the Supersonics will now have their chance to get their hands on the sneakers worn by Reignman in 1996. These sneakers are most known for being worn by Kemp in ’95-’96 season when the Seattle Supersonics lost to the Chicago Bulls in the NBA Finals in six games. Also included with this release is a Reebok Reserve hangtag with a capital letter R as an added reminder that in 2013 these are coming straight out of the vault.
The Reebok Kamikaze II – ‘Supersonics’ releases January 18th at select stores with a Reebok Classics account for $100.
