Whether you are a fan or not, the Air Jordan XX8 pulled in a lot of attention since it was first seen. After the official unveiling at the Jordan Brand ‘Dare to Fly’ event, the 2013 signature Air Jordan has been the talk of the sneaker community and left many wondering what the sneaker might look like in other colorways. Here is a rough look at two pairs scheduled to release next year.
The first pair of the Jordan 2013 has its synthetic upper draped in a red, wavy print with a black midsole and white out sole. When unzipped and rolled down, you can see that the mesh bootie on the inside is also red. The second pair also features the same wavy design on the outside of the shroud and the purple & green colors help the cause of the ‘Joker’ nickname. The carbon fiber heel counters remain black on both pairs, just like on the original pair seen at the unveiling and the feet of Russell Westbrook against the Brooklyn Nets the day after the Jordan XX8 event.
No word on the Air Jordan XX8 ‘Joker’ release, but I hear the ‘West All-Star’ will release along with a blue colorway for the Jordan Brand players on the East team the day after the 2013 All-Star Game in Houston next year.
