Blake Griffin Signs Endorsement With Jordan Brand And Does Michael Jordan Pose

This season especially, it feels like the endorsement deals that NBA players have signed has been as publicized as actual league roster moves.

With the amount of Blake Griffin sightings in Baltimore this summer its no wonder that many believed that Griffin would be leaving the Swoosh for Under Armour; which when thought about, the pairing of Griffin and the high performance brand looked like a good fit.  The man who the company is named after, Michael Jordan, had this to say about signing Blake Griffin:

“We are thrilled that Blake is joining the brand…Blake has captured the essence of what the brand stands for through his style of play and love for the game of basketball.  He is an amazing athlete and person who we look forward to working with for many years.”

These words from MJ himself must have touched Griffin dearly, proven during the shoot around before the Clippers/Heat game where Blake channeled his new boss with a warmup dunk posing in Jordan’s iconic Jumpman pose.

Similar to fellow Western Conference All-Star Russell Westbrook who recently signed a Jordan Brand endorsement, the first sneakers with Jumpman branding that Blake worn during the game were Player Exclusive pairs of the Jordan Super.Fly.
