I’m sure that Michael Jordan wasn’t the originator of the poster dunk but he definitely took dunking on his opponent to a new level. The current Charlotte Bobcats majority owner and the man, the myth, the legend forever known as the G.O.A.T was relentless on his path to the rim, sometimes even tip-toeing the baseline before a thunderous “in your face” dunk.
I can still remember the days of MJ posterizing any and all big men during the late 80’s and the remainder of the 90’s when Jordan regularly took it to dominating centers like Patrick Ewing, Dikembe Mutombo, and Alonzo Mourning, putting them on his next poster.
If you remember, Michael was and still is as competitive as any player in league history, that’s why it surely must be bothering the heck out of him that his Bobcats currently are at a league worst 7-54 record. And just in case you were wondering if “His Airness” can still dunk as he nears the half century mark, he put some campers in their place last Summer when he dunked at the generous age of 48.
Recently, we gave Kobe Bryant his props with an awesome highlight video for the ages, now it’s MJ’s turn. If you like watching Jordan dunking on and everyone in his path, then this is the video for you. Sorry Knicks fans, but Ewing gets dunked on numerous times….
