Injuries appear to be the name of the game so far in the playoffs. The Clippers’ Caron Butler is next up. He broke his left non-shooting hand last night, right before his team rallied for an epic come from behind win at Memphis. Butler even stayed in the game for a bit before deciding the pain was too much. This loss will be huge for L.A.
It has been a trying season for Caron Butler, made even worse when he suffered a fractured left hand in Game 1 of the Clippers‘ unreal 99-98 come-from-behind victory over the Memphis Grizzlies in a first-round Western Conference playoff game Sunday night.
The Clippers said Butler will be out four to six weeks because of the injury.
