Before the days of Steve Nash, PG's like John Stockton just weren't considered for the league MVP, likely due to their lack of scoring and accompanying media attention. But Stockton definitely should have either won the award or been in the running on numerous occasions. He can take comfort in the fact that his record of 15,806 career assists still stands in the record books.
