Lebron, John Wall Kill at CP3 All Star Game: Top 10 Plays

October 3, 2011 – Allen Moll

This NBA offseason, fans have been treated to bearing witness to numerous superstars that chose to participate in seemingly every pro-am and all star game from Cali to DC to NYC. All Star caliber players like Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, John Wall, and Kevin Durant have taken to the hardwood during the NBA Lockout to remain in shape for whenever the league comes to an agreement on the labor issues and begin the ‘11-’12 season.

Just recently, in the “Battle of I-95“, Team Philly, led by a squad of ballers with Philadelphia ties like Tyreke Evans, Kyle Lowry, and Lou Williams whooped up on Team Melo, featuring Lebron, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Paul, even though 2 time MVP Lebron James went off for 43 points and 23 rebounds.

With the success of games like Capital Punishment and the aforementioned “Battle of I-95“, NBA stars came out in droves for Chris Paul’s CP3 Foundation All Star Game held Saturday evening in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Just to get a chance to see players like Kevin Durant, Dwyane Wade, and Rudy Gay all on the floor at the same time, fans were reportedly willing to pay upwards of $275, more than double the face value, just to get in the gym.

As for the game, John Wall and Lebron James starred with James finishing off a flurry of thunderous alley-oops and Wall getting creative by completing a behind the back jam and an insane off the wall (no pun intended) windmill jam that got the crowd on their feet. Be sure to check out the entire video of the Top 10 plays from the CP3 Game as Chris Paul himself shows off some insane ups in the closing seconds.
