Usually when it comes to anything basketball related, Lebron James is considered a King. Whether it is winning scoring titles, MVP awards, or landing spots on the All NBA 1st Team, Lebron undoubtedly is the game’s current best player. But when making an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show recently, the more than 1 million viewers found out that “King James” could use a little more practice in one area of his game: Pop-A-Shot. You know, the highly addictive hoops game that we’ve all played for hours on end in our parent’s basement or garage as kids(maybe even still today!).
Jimmy found a Pop-A-Shot ringer to go up against James in the form of a 4’7 local eatery bus boy appropriately named Ricardo. In what looked like an obvious mismatch at the start turned into a basketball bloodbath which Lebron hasn’t seen since his Cavaliers lost to the Celtics in the 2nd round of the NBA Playoffs. Ricardo obviously has had practice at this since he almost doubled Lebron’s output of 42 points, by scoring a whopping 72 points in only 30 seconds. Let’s hope James’ shooting slump doesn’t carry over into next season. But not to worry Lebron fans, surely the NBA’s reigning MVP will have enough money to buy his own Pop-A-Shot to work on his game, after he signs the richest free agent deal of all time this Summer.
