A few weeks ago we told you about Lebron James being dunked on at his own Nike/Lebron James Skills Academy by college player Jordan Crawford of Xavier. Being dunked on is not such a big deal, aside from the fact that in this case Lebron James and Nike tried to bury the footage by requesting the tapes from all of the on-site cameramen. After the videos were confiscated the story blew up on the net after a CBS cameraman described how he was treated by the Nike rep at the camp.
Well we figured it was only a matter of time before the confiscated tape surfaced. It may not be the actual film from the cameraman, but apparently a cell phone video of the play has been found. The website TMZ has released a statement today announcing that they have obtained a cell phone video of the play and will be releasing the video on their website at 6:45 p.m EST. The photo above is a screenshot released by TMZ of the video to assure their readers they actually have a copy of the video and it is not a hoax.
*Update* – The cameramen who had their tapes confiscated have stated that this screenshot is in fact from that play where Lebron got dunked on, and it appears the video was shot from the overhead arena track above which had limited access.
