Throughout the series against the Miami Heat, Celtics point-guard Rajon Rondo for the Boston Celtics has stepped into some new shoes; literally. Instead of the usual Hyperfuse, a shoe which he debuted to the world during last year’s NBA Playoffs, Rondo chose to lace up the Zoom Kobe VI in neutral colors of white and grey. With the Celtics down 0-2 and heading home, the folks at NikeiD churned out 2 pairs of the Hyperfuse Low in ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ Celtics-friendly colorways for the starting guard just in time for the Celtics return home to Boston.
Note that last year, backup point-guard Nate Robinson wore an assortment of Zoom LeBron VIIs during the Playoffs except when the Celtics actually faced the Cavaliers.
