The Suns hosted their second home game of the season Sunday afternoon against the Golden State Warriors at Talking Stick Resort Arena. The upstart Suns played well and hung with the Warriors most of the game before faltering 106-100.
Apparently after an 0-2 start to the season, the Suns felt it was already time for a change at the point guard position with little known prospect Eric BELDSOE…
Eric Bledsoe's name is spelled wrong. pic.twitter.com/Agy4NucUnR

He had a great debut with 21 points, six assists and five rebounds. In all seriousness though it is pretty funny that in his fourth season with the team the Suns equipment staff managed to misspell his last name, not that difficult of a name to spell save for the “e” at the end potentially.
I guess he has missed so much court time the past few seasons, some of the equipment staff forgot to spell his name altogether. Let’s hope he makes enough of a name for himself this season to have it spelled correctly.
Bledsoe isn’t the first NBA player to have his name misspelled on a jersey and he won’t be the last. Enjoy a few other examples…
