Eric Bledsoe on Terry Rozier Postgame: “I Don’t Even Know Who the F**k That is”

Despite a rash of injuries and being without Kyrie Irving, Marcus Smart and Gordon Hayward (yes that still counts), the Boston Celtics are playing great basketball and hold a 2-0 lead over the Milwaukee Bucks in their best of seven series.

One of the reasons that the Celtics have gotten out to a 2-0 lead (in addition to Jaylen Brown becoming the youngest player in NBA history to score 30 points in a playoff game) has been the play of Terry Rozier.

Rozier would typically be the fourth guard in the Celtics rotation, but with the injuries he has been thrust into the starting point guard role with a ton of responsibilities and he is responding, averaging 23 points, 5.5 assists and 3.5 assists thus far in the series and getting the best of Milwaukee Bucks point guard Eric Bledsoe.

After Game 1 Rozier had a bit of a Freudian slip when he referred to Eric Bledsoe as Drew Bledsoe in post game interview and when Bledsoe was asked about Rozier in the locker room after Game 2, he was a little salty in his response…

By the need for Bledsoe to assert that he doesn’t know who Rozier is, it makes it painstakingly obvious that Rozier is getting under his skin and he is not too happy that he has surprisingly been severely outplayed by him in the first two games of this series.

They say a series doesn’t really start until the road team wins and the Bucks have a chance to defend their home court and even the series at 2-2 over the next few days.
