With Chinese New Year coming up and the zodiac changing, adidas is ready for the Year of the Goat with this new sneaker pack featuring the D Rose 5 Boost and the return of the T-Mac 3.
Derrick Rose has one of the best logos in the NBA right now and he is likely to make the 1st Team NBA All-Logo in history, so the branded apparel looks cool. adidas always uses the best textiles at their disposal for the D Rose apparel line, so it makes sense the ‘Year of the Goat’ stuff is good thanks largely to the not-literal design cues. No obvious inspiration, just good looking lines.
Seeing the D Rose 5 Boost with a crinkled leather upper makes me like this sneaker even more; it should release addition leather colorways more than with the synthetic, shiny upper like some editions do. adidas originally released the T-Mac 3 poetically in 2003 for Tracy McGrady during his back-to-back NBA Scoring Championship reign.
