On Wednesday night Russell Westbrook may have set an NBA record with his 51-point triple-double, but that just wasn’t enough.
His 51 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds were the most points ever scored in a playoff triple-double. But when it was over, all Westbrook could see was a 115-111 loss to the Rockets that left his Thunder in a 2-0 hole in the hull of their first round series. Following his impressive performance Westbrook went on record to say the following:
“I don’t give a fuck about the line,” Westbrook told reporters. “We lost.”
