Jordan Brand upgrades the unofficial Blake Griffin signature shoe for the Chinese New Year colorway.
The ‘Chinese New Year’ colorway is the debut version of the Jordan Super.Fly 4’s PO edition, which is essentially a “.5” version that releases towards the second half of the season with the NBA Playoffs as intented forum for use.
Essentially a two-toned material sneaker, the lateral (outside) uses what is called the Flight Web system, which is a a different fusing process between mesh, TPU, and glue.
The medial (inside) of both sneakers is made from a synthetic and features an oriental design as a nod to Flight and absolutely nothing to do with the Year Of The Monkey. Not complaining because the kites are a good omen in Chinese culture and the Nike Flight/actual flying flight tie-in is clever.
This pair releases alongside a Air Jordan V Low featuring the same color-blocking and similar graphics.
The ‘Chinese New Year’ Jordan Super.Fly 4 PO releases on Saturday, January 23rd for $price.
