Just when the Minnesota Timberwolves were starting to get their groove this season—their starting point guard Ricky Rubio suffered a severe sprain in his left ankle and will be sidelined for an indefinite amount of time.
He injured his left ankle at exactly the 2:28 mark of the second quarter in their game versus the Orlando Magic.

This is definitely a huge blow for the Wolves, as Rubio has been the main catalyst in their offense with his incredible passing skills. But, with this unfortunate injury, expect backup point guards Zach LaVine and Mo Williams to replace him in the starting lineup for their next few games.
Throughout his five games this season, Rubio has been averaging 9.4 points 5.6 rebounds, and 10.0 assists in almost 29 minutes per game.
