adidas shows Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka some love with a Player Edition of the Crazy 8 basketball sneaker.
A mostly black upper, the ‘Serge Ibaka’ Crazy 8 features a white midsole with a green outsole. Inspiration for the colorway comes from the Congo heritage of Serge Ibaka since the green, red, & yellow are the colors of the national flag. The print seen inside of the panels could also be a nod to fellow Stripes endorsee Dikembe Mutombo, whose sneaker is scheduled to release next month.
This ‘Serge Ibaka’ Player Edition of the adidas Crazy 8 drops in a pack features two other PE versions of the sneaker formally known as the adidas KB8 for fellow adidas athletes Jrue Holiday and Iman Shumpert.
The ‘Serge Ibaka’ adidas Crazy 8 drops on August 1st for $110.
