Celebrating the second straight NBA title as well as second Finals MVP award for LeBron James, Nike is releasing special pairs of the LeBron X Low & LeBron X Elite.
For the NBA Playoff-specific ‘Championship’ LeBron X Elite, a mostly red upper is used with golden accents as a nod to the Larry O’Brian Award on top of a black speckled midsole. Much more intricate detailing went into the ‘Championship’ LeBron X Low as a multi-colored floral print can be seen throughout the lowtop sneaker which is topped off with a glow-in-the-dark outsole.
The red LeBron X Elite is the same colorway that James wore throughout the NBA Finals and the LeBron X Low was first seen on LeBron’s feet during the Miami Heat victory parade.
This isn’t the first time this exact LeBron X Elite pair has been featured here since it was the same sneaker that he put up a triple-double in during Game 6. An upcoming pair of Gary Payton’s ‘The Glove’ Air Flight 98 signature sneaker will have a very similar colorway.
While these are official pictures, info, and such straight from Nike, the only mention to a release date for both of these sneakers are they will both be packaged together with a hat and sold “in very limited quantities in North America and China”.
