Dwyane Wade came alive in a necessary Game 4 Miami Heat win while playing in another unreleased colorway from his Way Of WADE sneaker line with Li-Ning.
This is a Player Exclusive gold colorway of the Way Of WADE Encore; the playoff version of his original Li-Ning sneaker from the partnership announced in October. Some of the differences between the Encore and the pairs from the regular season include a carbon fiber shank, mesh panels in the upper, & extremely high tongue said to be for stability.
Contributing on both ends of the floor, D Wade put up 32 points complimented by six steals & rebounds all while dropping four dimes and a single block. Wade also was perfect from the free throw line in Game 4, hitting all four of his attempts from the stripe.
The Miami Heat have adapted what Team USA 2012 did during this past Olympics in London of wearing gold sneakers during the championship games to signify the win. It worked for Wade and the Heat in Game 4 but some of their players were doing this during both loses of the series. For these colorways to make the most sense, the Miami Heat would have to win the Finals.
